The PAWS (Power Assisted Wheelchair Systems) by Rehasense is an electric assist device designed for manual wheelchairs, providing users with greater mobility and independence. This device allows manual wheelchair users to travel longer distances with less effort.

DIMENSIONS AND ADJUSTMENT / DISASSEMBLY POSSIBILITIES
The PAWS is very easy to install on all types of manual wheelchairs thanks to an adjustable attachment system.
With a 14-inch front wheel, it allows you to move around independently.
Safety instructions
- Wearing a helmet is mandatory.
- Make sure the battery is charged before leaving.
- Before your activity, check the weather forecast and local conditions.
- Bring water and food even if it is an activity lasting a few hours.
- Wear appropriate clothing.
- Make sure the equipment to be used is working properly before the activity.
- Make sure you are in good shape before starting your activity.
- Check the time required to complete your activity.
- Make sure you have a way to communicate with emergency services if necessary (telephone, whistle, flashlight) – Emergency (911).
- Don’t overestimate your strengths: choose your routes based on your physical condition.
Rental conditions
- The request does not confirm the reservation.
- Chalets Lanaudière disclaims all liability in the event of an accident.
- The person renting the equipment is responsible for it and must ensure that it is returned in its original condition.
- The person renting the equipment undertakes to respect the safety instructions.
- The equipment rental service is aimed at people with disabilities.
