09/11/2023

It is with great pleasure that Chalets Lanaudière welcomed on October 27th Ms. Carole Beauregard, communications and community life advisor for the Caisse Desjardins de Montcalm et de la Oureau, for the delivery of the first payment of $100,000 donation for the development project: “Chalets Lanaudière, new outdoor universally accessible tourism destination” which provides for the addition of six tiny cottages with universal access and a range of adapted outdoor activities, in addition to a Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) designated and adapted trail where all Chalets Lanaudière guests will be able to discover the health benefits of nature. The project is currently underway.

The six new adapted tiny cottages, which plans has been approved by Kéroul, are under construction, several adaptive outdoor equipment have been acquired and the works for the accessibility of the site and facilities are as well underway. Thank you to Desjardins for contributing to this innovative and inclusive project which will allow an entire community of people living with different types of functional limitations, to enjoy stays in nature and the outdoors in complete safety with their family and friends in an enchanting site!
