For decades, countless scientific studies have highlighted the profound impact nature can have on both our physical and mental well-being. Inspired by this knowledge, we created the Firefly Path—an experience designed to help you reconnect with nature and feel its revitalizing effects, right here at Chalets Lanaudière.

To bring this vision to life, we earned the Therapeutic Forest certification from the International Society of Nature and Forest Medicine—an organization that promotes scientific research into the health benefits of spending time in nature.

 

Specially designed with wellness in mind, the Firefly Path invites you to discover these benefits at your own pace. This one-kilometre self-guided trail features eleven interactive stations, each equipped with educational panels that guide you through various approaches to forest bathing—offering moments of calm, clarity, and renewal.

The trail is accessible year-round and was thoughtfully designed to be inclusive. The panels are placed at heights suitable for both children and wheelchair users. To enhance accessibility even further, an audio guide is available via QR code, so you can immerse yourself in the experience without needing to read.
